In 2012, Alfie Patten from the UK was named the youngest father. The 13-year-old had apparently impregnated his girlfriend, Chantelle Steadman aged 15. However, new reports claim that Patten is not the father to Steadman’s child.
DNA results prove that the 13 year old father isn’t the father of Maisie Roxanne. Rather than rejoice over the news, Patten’s heart had been broken. Nicola, Alfie’s mother, talked about how the 13 year old father reacted to the DNA results.
“He did cry after we found out he wasn’t the dad. When we told Alfie the baby wasn’t his he was absolutely hysterical. He burst out crying and then he ran out of the room,” stated Nicola.
The full report on the DNA test has been published on the Mirror. Even after two years, the incident continues to haunt the life of the 13 year old kid. His face has been attached to a number of condoms sold off on the Web.
The DNA test also proves another thing about the 13 year old father that is, he is still a virgin despite the claims that Steadman had only slept with him during the course of their relationship.
“Alfie was and still is a virgin. And the good news is he wants to stay that way until he’s at least 18,” stated Nicola.
The 13 year old father is now 15 years of age but Patten’s life has been less than magical. After the reports on the DNA test have been released, Patten’s life is once again under the scrutiny of the public.
“I don’t want a girl to be ashamed to take him home to meet her parents because they’ll think he was the one who got a girl pregnant when he was 12,” explained Patten’s mother.
There have been no updates on Patten’s ex-girlfriend, Steadman. There has also been no word regarding the daughter of the alleged 13 year old father, Roxanne.
The poor kid said in an interview:
“Having sex at such a young age ruined my life. It was the biggest mistake I’ve ever made and it’s really affected me. I left school with no GCSEs, and I’ve never worked. I can’t imagine how hard life would be if I had to be a father too.”
Well, the boy can finally breathe a sigh of relief.
