Brazilian identical twin sisters Maria Pignaton Pontin and Paulina Pignaton Pandolfi have reached a milestone so uncommon that it become news!
They have been able to celebrate turning 100 years old this week together, not only that they are twins!
The duo decided to ring in the celebrations with a photoshoot together, and the were too beautiful and adorable for our eyes!
Photographer Camila Lima was recruited to capture the duo’s important day, ‘I had never met anyone 100-years-old, let alone twins! I got in touch with their family and offered the photo shoot as a gift,’ Camila told GoodHousekeeping.com.
‘We were all excited, and they put on beautiful dresses, did their hair and came to the capital to take the pictures.’
Here we can see the two ladies enjoying a colorful picnic, dressed in huge tulle skirts in blue and pink with matching floral crowns and T-shirts with their age printed on.
In other photos, they embrace wearing bright floral dresses before taking off driving in a pink car.
Camila also revealed that the women certainly have lots to celebrate: 65 children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren between them.
For Paulina that includes six children, 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, while Maria has five children, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In her 100 years, Paulina has also survived two heart attacks and beaten cancer.
Maria and Paulina will actually be hitting the big 100 on May 24, but on the 20th celebrated the occasion with a party surrounded by friends and family, Gazeta News reports.
