A dead ‘dragon’ has been discovered by residents of a Chinese village with the video receiving over 10 million views in the country.
The peculiarly long skeleton measures at least 60 feet and appeared to convince the locals in Zhangjiakou, in China’s northern Hebei Province.
The footage shows dozens of villagers surrounding the suspected dragon remains, which start with a large skull, two tiny arms and then extend further along the grass.
Unlike, the dragons depicted in Western mythology, traditional Chinese dragons have no wings and fly by ‘swimming’ through the air much like how snakes slither along the ground.
Chinese social media users said that the skeleton was probably placed their intentionally, perhaps as a prop for a movie. Till, now local police have not commented anything on the issue.
Last year a dragon was apparently spotted in the skies above china.
Many commenters believe it was legit.
Sef Shah said: “This is a real dragon.”
Langa Thwala also chipped in: “It is a dragon.”
