Keith Lambing, a 20 year-old man is accused of murder and sexual assault, and surprisingly against a child. Police founded the unconscious child and began to look out for the culprit.
He was eventually arrested from his mother’s home where he was hiding. Bentley Miller, the little kid who was mercilessly killed was found in the car of 43-year-old Kristen Herold, the death was declared as homicide.
Though, the boy was taken the hospital, the doctors announced that he was no more. The boy was tortured and also had a burnt left hand which was left untreated. Apart from that, the boy had a bruise on his head, torso and extremities consistent with being held forcibly from behind.
“I have never seen anything like it [in] 22 years as an attorney,” District Attorney Richard Goldinger told. “It’s horrific. It’s unimaginable that somebody could actually do this to any human being, let alone a 4-year-old.”
Herold said that she picked the boy at the Super 8 Motel on Pittsburgh road, where her son, his girlfriend, Bentley and their 4-month-old baby were leaving.
She said that she got a call on Tuesday morning and was told that Bentley had a medical emergency and she needed to pick him up.
Later, Lambing was found in an abandoned home’s attic with his mother.
Lambing is charges with number of charges and if found guilty he would be imprisoned for life. But, the prosecutors are pushing for death sentence.
Herold was also charged with hindering arrests and endangering the welfare of a child, and Lambing’s girlfriend, 21-year-old Mackenzie Peters, was charged with two counts of child endangerment.
Here are some of the comments from public:
“How could you not [have] called 911 at the hotel,” one person wrote on Herold’s Facebook page.
“You should have been protecting that baby, not your monster son!” another person commented.
In court, Lambing was sobbing but denied killing Bentley. When asked if he did it, the crying suspect said, “No sir.”
What do you think the sentence should be?
