F.R.I.E.N.D.S TV Show turned the way TV series were viewed. Those who have not seen this show ever in their life, they are sure to have missed something special. About two decades ago, F.R.I.E.N.D.S series shoot started. Who knew at that time that it’s gonna be the biggest memories of the 90s. The major characters are still ruling over the hearts of all, even after a decade of their final episode.
All the sensational six characters i.e. Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Ross and Joey- did not know each other until the team of the F.R.I.E.N.D.S brought them together. We have an idea about what their life was after the filming of F.R.I.E.N.D.S series, but what was their life before this is a curiosity to be solved. Let’s find out.
Matt Le Blanc as Joey:
Leblanc was in the field of acting before the F.R.I.E.N.D.S series also. He was a familiar face in T.V. commercials and musical videos of the 90s. His father was French-Canadian and his mother was Italian. He inherited the physical appearance of his mother and had a youthful and pretty Italian face. “Miracle” of Alanis Morissete and “Into the Great Wide Open” of the Tom Petty are two famous music videos in the Matt worked.
His T.V. career got a boost only after he got a chance with the show TV 101, where he got 13 episodes to shoot. Some of his major projects were Just The Ten of Us (1989), Married With Children (1991), Top of The Heap (1991), and Vinnie And Bobby (1992). Though he succeeded to snatch a leading role in Vinnie and Bobby (1992), but he made a major breakthrough in the T.V. with his role in F.R.I.E.N.D.S two years after it.
Jennifer Aniston as Rachel:
Do you know before becoming really successful as Rachel, Jennifer gave four failed Sitcoms to the T.V. industry? They were – Molloy (1990) The Edge (1992-1993) Ferris Bueller (1990-1991), and Mudding Through (1994).
Her parents were both actors, so they always encouraged her to go for acting. But, after her continuous failures, she got frustrated to the level that when she met the president of NBC entertainment, Warren Littlefield, in 1994, she asked a very hopeless question to him, “Is it ever going to happen?” Well, it ended for her in the same year. N.B.C. signed her for F.R.I.E.N.D.S in 1994 and after that, she never looked back.
Mathew Perry as Chandler:
For Mathew Perry., F.R.I.E.N.D.S was not his first debut in the T.V. Previously, he has worked in a Hollywood rom-com ‘17-Again’ with Zac Effron, which turned out to be a blockbuster. He got a second chance, in a Sitcom ‘Second Chance’ when he was just 18. Both of them were sort of rom-com only. The show ‘Second Chance’ was re-titled to “Boys Will be Boys”. After its closure, he performed in shows like Empty Nest, Call Me Anna, Growing Pains etc. with his small roles till 1994. It is in the end of 1994 that he started the role of Chandler, which flipped his life altogether.
