Britain’s got talent has become a major fail on television in recent times.
This is supposed to be a show that acts like a platform for the British to showcase their talent (which they don’t have) and this is usually highlighted in the audition stages of the show.
Even then, this show is pulling in a few million viewers every Saturday night. The show is at the semi-final stages of competition and you’d actually expect some sort of talent. Right?
Ben Blaque, one of the contestants was really hoping to prove that he had it in him. Ben loves his arrows and he asked one of the judges, Alesha Dixon to shoot some while he was strapped to a board. Desperate times call for desperate measures. LOL.
Anyway, when Alesha pulled the leaver, two arrows rocketed out towards Ben instead of one, the audience watched in awe.
Ben seemed like he had it all together even after this malfunction but he seemed more nervous as to what more could go wrong during this act.
Speaking about the act, Simon Cowell said,
“I think the fact that it went wrong made it better. I personally would not trust Alesha to pull the handle and fire and arrow at me. But in a strange way, by Alesha being an idiot and accidentally releasing two arrows, it made the act better.”
Ben later explained, “The chord must have got tangled up and that would have caused the two arrows to be sent off.”
Despite being nearly killed by one of the judges, his death defying act wasn’t enough to get him through to the next round.
Well, he could always try again next year, or the year after that, or the year after that.
