Australian superstar Sia is known for the millions of hits with amazing tracks like Chandelier and Elastic Heart. But you’ll probably realize that you can’t really recall what she looks like, right?
She has been known to maintain her privacy by keeping her face covered every time. Apart from a few rare appearances, Sia’s face remains a hidden mystery in all interviews, red carpet appearances, including her music videos.
She is obviously good at keeping her appearance under wraps, but sadly for her, during a performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado on Wednesday night, a gust of wind revealed her face.
The wind ruined her disguise for two whole seconds, but I’m sure we’re not going to recognize Sia even if we ran into her at the supermarket.
In an episode of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, Sia explained why she prefers to stay covered up: “I don’t wear this unless there’s cameras around. I only wear this to maintain a modicum of privacy.
“I was a singer for ten or eleven years to mediocre success. I was an alcoholic and a drug addict and I sobered up and decided I didn’t want to be an artist anymore. I was starting to get a little bit famous and it was destabilising.”
But this wasn’t the first time we were able to see Sia’s face in public, she showed herself during a surprise appearance as a festival-goer on the Amazon Prime series, Transparent.
