California Woman Adapted Rural Indian Life To Marry Her Love

An Indian man fell madly in love with a California girl. Despite different cultures, age differences and languages they developed an amazing love story over chatting. Finally, on the 10th day, he said the three magical words, ‘I love you!’

The couple Mukesh Kumar who is 25 and Adriana Parel who is 41 met on Facebook and fell in love with each other in 2014. They used to speak every day and to save Mukesh’s mobile balance she used to make calls frequently. As Mukesh’ English is not so good the conversations used to last for about 2-3 minutes.

In California, she used to work as a receptionist and a trained acupuncture specialist. She is mother to a 25-year-old daughter and her entire family stays in the US. Initially, she was feared to disclose her relationship with Mukesh but once she did, she flew to Mukesh’s house where his entire family welcomed her! Her mother-in-law fell in love with her new daughter in law and makes her halwa often.

The couple got married in a typical Hindu style wedding after few months. Ever since then she has adapted to their culture. She cooks for him and but also milk buffaloes in the open fields!

Both of them were struggling over a period of time to travel back to Adriana’s house in the US. Due to various reasons, Mukesh’s visa has been refused by the US Embassy and even Adriana has been to India only on a tourist visa.

Despite so many hurdles, they are positive that their lives have changed for the best after marriage and will continue to do so even in the future!
