Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed his sadness over the ongoing crisis in the region and stressed the need for solidarity and brotherhood.

He said in a speech that the crisis between the neighbouring states was hurting and added that the Islamic civilisation is based on brotherhood, solidarity and cohesion among Muslims.

As far as the developments in Jerusalem is concerned, the President said that “Israel’s removal of the electronic gates from Al-Aqsa Mosque is a correct step but not enough.”
