Harvard Says That This 23-Year-Old Woman Is The Next Einstein

Nowadays people have much shorter attention spans and a definite inability to retain information. But everyone is not same.

Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski, 23-year-old, has been touted by Harvard – one of the best universities in the world – as ‘the next Einstein’.

Even, Stephen Hawking follows her research, citing her in a paper he co-wrote with some other top scientists.

At the age of 14, she herself designed and built her own single engine airplane. She even flew it by herself across Lake Michigan, making her the youngest person to ever fly their own plane.

She doesn’t own a smart phone or partake in social media of any kind.

After professors Allen Haggerty and Earl Murman watched her work she got into the Massachusetts Institute Of Technology – one of the most prestigious universities in the world.

In 2010, she graduated from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy and applied to MIT and was initially told she had to wait, but her plane project proved she was worthy.

She is now enrolled as a PhD candidate at Harvard, achieved the highest possible grade point average of 5.0. She decided that she doesn’t want to build planes anymore and has instead turned her attention to physics – specifically black holes and the way in which gravity affects space and time. In particular, she’s keen to study ‘quantum gravity’ and attempt to understand the link between gravity within the context of quantum physics.

No wonder why Stephen Hawking has a little academic crush on her. She’s also impressed Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, who has already offered Pasterski a job.

Aerospace developer and manufacturer also have her in their sights, and have offered her a role.
